Uzbekistan, (officially the Republic of) is located in Central Asia. It is surrounded by five landlocked countries: Kazakhstan to the north; Kyrgyzstan to the northeast; Tajikistan to the Southeast; Afghanistan to the south, and Turkmenistan to the southwest. Its capital and largest city is Tashkent. Uzbekistan is part of the Turkic world. The country speaks most Uzbek language; while Russian is widely spoken and understood throughout the country. However, Tajik is also spoken as a minority language, predominantly in Samarkand and Bukhara. Moreover, Islam is the predominant religion in the territory, with most Uzbeks being Sunni Muslims.

Uzbekistan is a secular state, with a presidential constitutional government in place. The country comprises 12 regions (vilayats); while Tashkent City is an autonomous republic. As of 2022, Uzbekistan had a population of a bit over 36 million inhabitants.

Itinerary

Arrival in Tashkent. Meet and greet by our team at Tashkent International Airport and transfer to your hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, meet your guide at the hotel at 09:00 and start the sightseeing tour at the capital city of Uzbekistan. The spots to visit are as follows:
• Hazrati Imom Complex Spiritual heart of Tashkent (16-20 century)
• Chorsu Bazaar is one of the busiest bazaars in Tashkent.
• Amir Temurs Square statue of Amir Temur was placed on site in 1994
• Independent Square favorite resting place for residents Place where couples come to take photos on their wedding day.
• Museum of Applied Arts

After breakfast at the hotel, our driver will transfer you to the train station at 07:00 to take a train to Bukhara. Arrival at Bukhara at 11:39. Then start the sightseeing at the city of Islam and Culture.

• Samanid mausoleum is one of the oldest buildings (10th century)
• Chashmai Ayyub mausoleum also known as the Museum of Water
• Boloi Hauz mosque built in 1712 looks elegant and splendid.
• Ark fortress citadel of Kings and Khans
After the lunch break:
• Poi Kalon complex has madrasah, minaret, and old mosque.
• Miri Arab Madrasa one of the oldest madrasas
• Ulugbek Madrasa was one of the first madrasas built in 1417.
• Abdullazizkhan Madrasa is a medieval madrasah built in 1651.

• Registan Square has three madrasas all built at different times.
After the lunchtime break
• Bibi Khanum Mosque built in 1399 by Amir Temur
• Siab Bazaar oldest and still operating bazaar.
• Shahi Zinda Complex is a Noble Street cemetery XI to XX century.

Places to visit:
• Ulugbek observatory was the center of astronomical study in central Asia. The observatory was 3 stories and was built in the 1420s
• The Mausoleum of Hodja Daniyar is a visit destination for the world´s three religions: Judaism, Islam and Christianity
• Afrasiab Museum is one of the oldest in Samarkand
• Konigil ancient paper factory is where the ancient factory of paper for writing was built at the beginning of the 8th century.
Transfer to the train station at 16:45 and take the train to Tashkent at 17:30.
